How Do I Get Started?
Get started with the Lingotek-Confluence plugin in just a few steps:
How do I enable translation in Confluence?
Start by installing the Lingotek plugin. After the plugin is installed, set up the integration between Lingotek and Confluence. Once the integration is complete, you’ll be able to enable translation on your Confluence space. To set up the integration, you’ll need to create an OAuth key, and enter it into both Lingotek and Confluence (explanation will follow).
Can I choose my settings when I translate a space?
Yes. You choose your translation settings on a global level, for a single space, or for a single page.
Is there a place I can control my global translation settings?
Yes. The Confluence plugin lets you:
- Choose default translation languages
- Enable a translation tool bar (available on each Confluence page).
- Choose which Confluence users will have permissions to request translations.
How do I translate a space?
When you choose to translate a space, Lingotek creates a new space for each target language. From the original space, choose which pages you would like to translate. Once the translations are complete, publish them to Confluence – one by one, or in bulk.
How do I translate a single page?
You can translate a page using either Confluence or Lingotek. We recommend translating in Lingotek so that each saved translation can be added to translation memory.
